WTTC Safe Travels

This seal enables travelers to identify governments and businesses worldwide that have adopted standardized global health and hygiene protocols, ensuring they can experience “safe travels” as the sector transitions to a new normal. The seal is awarded by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) through the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT), envisioning a future of travel that is safe, seamless, and provides an authentic and meaningful experience for travelers throughout their journey. It supports the livelihoods of millions and contributes to sustainable economic growth.

The National Child Welfare Agency (PANI) is the governing institution for the rights of children and adolescents in Costa Rica. Together with UNICEF, it created the Code of Conduct to prevent the sexual and commercial exploitation of children and adolescents. Ecole Travel is recognized as a company actively participating in the fight against practices that promote this issue in the tourism sector.

ICT

The Tourism Company Declaration (ICT) is a recognition granted by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute to all sector companies that meet the technical, economic, and legal requirements outlined in the Regulations for Tourism Companies and Activities.

It is a symbol representing a network of companies, individuals, and communities committed to building trust among tourists exploring our country. It reflects the shared value of equality to create the best travel experiences and ensure a safe stay.

ASOTU

Created to foster a close relationship with tourism activities and the Marino Ballena National Park, all its members were trained and, in one way or another, received economic, social, and environmental benefits, providing stability to its associates.

Likewise, as a group, they maintain close and cordial relationships with the protected area where tourism activities are conducted, promoting and seeking specific agreements and support that benefit both parties.

The primary objective is to create opportunities and benefits for the associates, strengthen conservation, and promote it within the community.
